| First training run for the half. 6.01 mi in 1:16:51. My pace was 12:47/mi after taking 2 minute walk breaks after 3 miles. It was an OKAY run, didn't hurt but not great.

| Workout with UVTC at art dye park. Ended up being a walk jog more walking than I'd hoped while I stayed with a runner that didn't want to run.

| 30 minutes of hills. I ran from the school to our crosswalk 5 times. i was very grateful for the breeze. Total distance of 1.5 miles. I have 93 days to prepare for a PR. I have got to improve my cardio.

| I added fartleks to the Cabela loop for my workout today. It was a total of 3.09 miles with 7-8 fartleks, I lost count. I tried to do a pyramid of sorts the first was 30 seconds then 40, then 50, then 60, then 50, 30, 40. I meant to do two 60 second fartleks but can't remember. It took 44:14 total.

| It was HARD but I finished. The long run of the week was 8 miles. I completed it in 1:57:05 at an average 14:37/mi pace. Mile 1-16:01, mile 2-13:01, mile 3-13:50, mile 4-15:09, mile 5-13:47, mile 6-16:11, mile 7- 14:13, and the final mile8-14:45. I was so glad to have that workout over. I am also grateful to have connected with the Eastmonds which motivated me to jog an incline I probably would have walked otherwise.

| Easy run behind Bryssa and her UVTC teammates. They ran two so I only got in 1.25, but it was a trail run with challenging inclines. I ran with Lucy's mom, Lucy has been injured and felt like running. The total workout was 15:43 and just over a mile at 12:53/mi pace. I hope it makes me stronger.

| I really felt good about my run today. I ran 4.07 miles in 51:15 a 12:36/mi pace. The first mile at 12:32, second mile at 12:41. A quick water stop at the pavillion near 2 miles, then the third mile at 12:55. The fourth and final mile was at 12:23. I don't know what made the run so nice, the overcast weather, the lower millage from last week, the first run of the week, whatever the cause I wish I could bottle it up.
